This website serves international users, including EU and UK visitors, and applies relevant privacy protections.Luminosicht AI operates ResumeSnapp and acts as the controller for account, product, billing support, and website data unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, profile photo, login method, verification status, subscription status, and account security metadata.
- Resume, cover letter, uploaded file, and document data: resume content, imported documents, generated exports, images, templates, version history, and user-provided career information.
- Payment and subscription data: plan, billing status, currency, country, transaction identifiers, invoices, refund and cancellation records. Full card data is handled by the payment provider and is not stored by ResumeSnapp.
- OAuth provider data: identifiers, name, email, profile image, token metadata, provider name, and account linking information from providers such as Google, GitHub, LinkedIn, Microsoft, XING, Apple, Facebook, or other enabled providers.
- Email systems data: verification, password reset, support, billing, legal, and product service communications.
- Analytics and device data: pages viewed, event data, IP address, approximate location, browser, device, referral source, timestamps, and diagnostic logs, only where permitted and subject to cookie consent where required.
- Cookies and local storage: session, security, CSRF, preference, analytics, and marketing technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
- Support and privacy request data: messages, request type, account email, identity verification signals, status, and correspondence history.
3. How We Use Data and Lawful Bases
- Contractual necessity: create accounts, authenticate users, save resumes, generate downloads, process subscriptions, provide support, and deliver requested digital services.
- Consent: optional analytics, marketing cookies, email marketing where enabled, and other optional features that require consent.
- Legitimate interests: service security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, product improvement, operational analytics, support quality, and legal claim management, balanced against user rights.
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting, payment, dispute, regulatory, and lawful request compliance.
4. Processors and Third Parties
We do not sell personal data. We may use carefully selected processors for service delivery, including:
- Paddle for checkout, merchant-of-record services, payment processing, tax handling, invoices, and refund administration where Paddle checkout is used
- Google OAuth and other enabled OAuth providers for authentication
- Resend or configured email service providers for transactional email
- Cloudinary or configured media storage providers for uploaded images
- Hosting, database, observability, security, and analytics providers selected by ResumeSnapp
Processor names, purposes, data locations, and data processing terms are reviewed as vendors are added or changed.
5. Uploaded Documents and AI Features
Uploaded resumes, images, and generated text may contain sensitive career, identity, contact, and employment data. We process this content to import, edit, store, render, translate, improve, export, or troubleshoot your documents. AI-generated suggestions are assistive and may be inaccurate. Users should review all generated content before use.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Marketing Technologies
Essential technologies are used for security and service operation. Non-essential analytics and marketing technologies should be blocked until valid consent is recorded for EU/UK visitors and in other regions where required. You can withdraw consent by reopening Cookie Settings or visiting the Cookie Policy.
7. Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, billing, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, and audit evidence. Account and resume data is retained while the account is active unless deleted by the user or required for legal, security, or dispute purposes. Billing, tax, invoice, support, privacy request, and consent records may be retained for the periods required to administer the service, comply with law, and defend legal claims.
8. International Transfers
ResumeSnapp is operated by an India-registered business and may use providers located in India, the EU/EEA, the UK, the United States, or other jurisdictions. For EU and UK personal data, transfers should use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum, or other lawful transfer mechanisms where required.
9. Security Practices
We apply privacy-by-design controls including HTTPS, secure cookies, CSRF protection, password hashing, access controls, verification workflows, rate limiting, audit logs, encryption practices where implemented, least-privilege operations, and data minimization. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, including EU GDPR and UK GDPR, you may have rights to:

12. Children
ResumeSnapp is not intended for children. The minimum age threshold and parental consent rules must be confirmed by the laws that apply in the user's location.
13. Automated Decision-Making
ResumeSnapp does not use automated processing to make legally significant decisions about employment, hiring, eligibility, credit, housing, or similar rights. AI drafting features are assistive tools; users choose whether to use, edit, export, or submit generated content.
14. Changes
We may update this policy as the product, providers, laws, or operating regions change. Material changes should be versioned and communicated through appropriate channels.
